  • Larva — often found feeding on miscellaneous debris. Bores into various inedible materials prior to pupation.

Lifecycle

  • 3 - 4 months at 20 - 25°C.

Habits

  • Will feign death if disturbed. Active in dark, damp places. Often linked to birds nests.
